One day, one moment, one idea has the power to change people's lives. Noah Davis is a pastor in a wealthy neighborhood. He is depressed after losing his wife to illness when he receives a call from an old friend who has opened a mission in a rough inner-city neighborhood. As Christmas approaches, he packs his belongings and moves into Salvation Street Mission with his two daughters. Now the family must deal with the difficulties that come with living in a crime-ridden neighborhood. Noah's inspiration inspires his daughters, the mission, and the community by bringing them the greatest gift of all: hope.
