Farm manager: Karen is a tough, corn-fed, outspoken person. She cares about the people she works for and the migrant people who work for her. It all started when one of her farmhands told her about a little girl who had recently gone missing. She became more close to her workers than she ever thought possible. When Karen's lover, Annabelle, goes missing, the bubble Karen lives in bursts and she starts looking into the town she grew up in. She finds out that there is a dark secret in the town she grew up in.
