1897. Dead for a Dollar takes veteran bounty hunter Max Borlund deep into Mexico, where he meets professional gambler and bandit Joe Cribbens, a bitter rival whom Max imprisoned years earlier. Borlund is on a mission to locate and return Rachel Kidd, a wealthy Santa Fe businessman's kidnapped wife. Max is forced to choose between doing the dishonest task he's been contracted to do and standing aside while violent mercenary outlaws and his long-time rival close in... If Max and his colleague Alonzo Poe resist, they have nothing to gain except honor.
