Kaitlyn, an ER nurse caring for a young stabbing victim, is electrocuted by the defibrillator that is being used to save the woman's life. Almost immediately, Kaitlyn begins to recall the victim's memories. She seeks help from family, friends, and the police, but no one believes her. She decides that she must try to solve the crime herself, or risk her sanity being jeopardized by the terrifying visions. Kaitlyn eventually teams up with the detective on the case and weaves her way through the victim's past, discovering not only the brutal truth, but also some very unexpected life, love, sorrow, and forgiveness lessons along the way.
