When Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar debuted on the West End stage in 1971, it was obvious that the musical world would never be the same again. Jesus Christ Superstar has been specially filmed for video for the first time. This brand new filmed stage version starring Glenn Carter and Rik Mayall, shot at Pinewood Studios, captures one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's best scores ever written and is jam-packed with hit songs such as 'I Don't Know How To Love Him,' 'Gethsemane,' and 'Superstar.'
