After writing a book about her time in the dance group "Barry Nichols and Les Girls," Sybil Wren is sued for slandering Angele, who was also in the group. In a Rashomon-style story, the story is told from three different people's points of view. Sybil accuses Angele of having an affair with Barry, but Angele says it was really Sybil. Last, Barry tells what happened from his point of view.
