A documentary about coping with inoperable cancer may sound improbable, but here it is. Gordon was diagnosed eight years ago and began to tackle his feelings and worries through the medium of LGBT comic comics. He exploits humor to penetrate the taboos around death and disease, incorporating into his expressively painted universe many of the excellent caregivers and nurses he meets. It is also a tale of long-distance romance between Edinburgh and Virginia, United States. Gordon has a thing or two to teach us about love, life, and death.
