Overview
During a dream of retribution, a traumatized young man who has been beaten by his father imagines himself as Adolf Hitler. During a period in which right-leaning German intellectuals fought for a coming to terms with the country's relationship with its Nazi past, Schlingensief published this film, which does not follow a linear narrative framework. Mr. Schlingensief was of the contrary opinion. (MoMA)
