Linda includes a seemingly perfect marriage with an adorable daughter, Chloe along with her handsome and rugged husband Mark. However, when Chloe is injured through an elderly babysitter who's slipped into dementia, Linda would like to make sure that her kid is never hurt again. Initially, the roommate that is new, Heather, seems for the family. However, Heather is a schemer who joys in the resulting chaos, and also replenishes the cracks in Linda's relationship and Mark. The goals of Heather go far beyond the mischievous, as Linda later learns, to her terror.
