As a golden opportunity, Jeff Webster sees the beginning of the Klondike goldrush in 1896. . .and woe betide anyone standing in his way! He drives a cattle herd from Wyoming to Seattle, by ship to Skagway, and (after a delay due to larcenous town manager Gannon) through the hills to Dawson. There, he and his partner Ben Tatum get into the gold industry themselves. Two lovely ladies autumn for Jeff, however, he thinks at every-man-for-himself, turning his back. . .until home strikes at.
