Overview
Supervisor Robin Hardy's reimagining of his spooky 1973 movie, The Wicker Male. Young Christians Beth and Steve, a gospel vocalist and her cowboy sweetheart, leave Texas to preach door-to-door in Scotland. When, after first misuse, they are welcomed with delight as well as elation to Tressock, the boundary fiefdom of Sir Lachlan Morrison, they presume their hosts simply intend to hear more concerning Jesus. Exactly how innocent and also incorrect they are.
